Hi, I have an Acer Extensa Desktop X2610G model. I really like the SFF design but unfortunately the existing soldered processor is not Windows 11 compatible. I would like to know if it is therefore possible to replace the existing motherboard, which I believe is actually a laptop motherboard, with a more up to date motherboard that would be capable of taking a more powerful processor. Please only recommend a motherboard that you are 100% sure is compatible. I am happy if the replacement motherboard is a used one as long as it in very good condition. I hope that you can help in providing me with a compatible motherboard, if possible.

It's a tough call, the motherboard looks like this:

Which is close to a microATX form factor. You could measure it to make sure. If so, you would be looking for a motherboard with the same size that doesn't have a heat sink sticking up too far. You also will have to deal with the power supply, since almost all uATX board use a 24 pin ATX power connector and yours is designed to run off of 19VDC on that DC_In port (#8). So maybe something like this one?
