My laptop is Acer Swift Go OLED with i5 13th gen, and I am unable to use facial recognition. It shows a message saying, “Camera not compatible with Windows Hello Face.” Does this mean the Acer Swift Go OLED does not have an IR camera? What is the solution to this issue?

That is correct, Windows Hello facial recognition requires a special camera. There are very few laptops that include that camera type. If you really need facial recognition, as opposed to just wanting it, then you will have to purchase a different camera.

This issue sometimes occurs after a Windows update. Note: If you have never set up Windows Hello Face Recognition and the option to set up the feature does not display in Settings, make sure that your PC has an IR camera. The option to set up Face Recognition is not available if the PC does not have an IR camera.
