Hello,
I have an Acer Aspire 3 15 A315-44P-R0KS 15,6" AMD Ryzen™ 7 laptop with Windows 11.
I would like to add Ubuntu 24.04 in dual boot.
I have two questions.
- The Ubuntu installation process doesn't permit me to select an empty space on the SSD disk (that I prepared to install Ubuntu, shrinking one of the original NTFS partitions). What can I do at the BIOS level to make the disk empty space available to the Ubuntu installation process? I couldn't find the AHCI in my version of laptop BIOS.
- The Ubuntu installation process doesn't connect correctly with the Wi-Fi adapter. However, the Wi-Fi connection of the Ubuntu live disk works and the connection to the Internet is available. I currently use an Ethernet connection to connect my laptop. How can I fix the Wi-Fi connection issue?
Thank you very much for your help,
Timofei
