Hello all,

I have recently purchased this laptop and have had a few minor issues with all of the drivers etc. First off I would like to know if it is best to stick with the OEM graphics driver from Acer or to use the one that Intel DSA says to download:

Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - Windows*

I currently have the NVIDIA RTX 4060 ver. 32.0.15.6614 and Intel UHD ver. 31.0.101.3425. I am not sure which this will replace but Intel DSA says it will remove customizations from my OEM, so I am looking to see whether to download it or not.

Additionally, I haven't been able to find any posts regarding bluetooth driver issues. I have Intel Bluetooth driver ver. 23.90.0.8, which is relatively recent, so I'm not sure why after about 30 mins of having my galaxy buds2 pro connected there starts to be a crackling sound every few seconds. I've tested the earbuds back on my old laptop (MSI GL63 8RC) and there's no problems, nor are there on my phone.

There's also a slowdown when opening the windows connection taskbar menu (wifi, sound, battery at bottom right) the first time I do it when the PC wakes up. If anyone knows anything about these issues, help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It is better to use the intel graphics drivers from acer support page. Intel DSA is a driver installation tool that simply provide driver updates but doesnt know if its compatible to your device or not. Acer ones are the best and most compatible. If it aint broke dont try to fix it.

Update windows to fix the slowness ( never do the optional updates that are available in the windows updates ) and try reinstalling the bluetooth drivers from the support page of acer
