Hi Steve, get an external HDD USB3.0 case for sale in any PC shop or if your data is on M.2 SSD also get a M.2 PCIe USB3.0 case or adapter/cable. remove the drives from the desktop and mount these in the USB case and/or USB M.2 adapter. Find a Windows laptop or PC insert the USB case/adapter in a USB3.0 port and copy the data with File Explorer to the internal drive. Acer Aspire C24-962 disassembly

Just as an alternative fix, get your Aspire AIO C24-960 PCs screen replaced with one of the screens below, as its only USD $126.47 and its available and it will be a better solution, as the C24-960 is still a useful 10th Gen cpu desktop to use. If the AIO is beyond repair do the above. Good luck.

The key is that all your data is stored either on an SSD or a HDD inside the computer. Just dropping the computer, while it likely breaks the screen, doesn't affect the data on the drive (though with a HDD there's a slight chance of damage if the computer was running when you dropped it). The chance are very good that your system has a SSD installed. Here's a picture of where it's located:

You should be able to read that with any other computer, though you might have to purchase an adapter that allows it to be plugged into a USB port.

From there, go into Users, then into the folder for your user. All your documents, pictures, videos, music, etc. will be there.
