Why is the Battery charge indicator on new Aspire 315-44P-R22V not showing 100%?

Plugged in over night with the power off. Seems it rgistered 100% over the first few days. Any ideas would help my curiosity. Thank you.

    Hi, Acer Aspire 3 A315-510P? Check Acer Support if there is a later BIOS version released with an EC update that includes a fix for battery draining by Modern Standby in Windows, update Windows 23H2 to the latest version that addresses the same issue, uninstall Fast Startup and Hibernate in "Change what closing the lid does" and "Change settings currently unavailable" In BIOS Main disable the 3 USB Wake on functions. Make sure you shut down properly and not suspend the laptop, there should be zero drain in the morning unless there is an issue with the USB-C charger, are you using the charger that came with the laptop? Try a larger 100-W laptop USB-C charger.

    This computer is an Aspire 315-44P-R22V which does not use a USB-C charger. Not being a technophile I have no idea what the answer means. Thanks for the input. I will find someone who understands the comment.

    @Verbilion

    The laptop does not reach 100% even though you have charged it for a long time?

    Try to calibrate the laptop battery by using it until it shuts down and fully recharging it.

    Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
    Thank you and have a nice day!

    Hi, I missed your laptop model in the header, update your BIOS to the just released version 1.05 from 2024/11/15 and update Windows23H2 to version 22631.4541. Also disable Fast Startup and Hibernate as per my comment above.
