My Nitro ANV15-41, which is less than 3 months old, has started showing screen bleeding issues with white shades in the corners and slowly i think its increasing. As I have a 1-year warranty, should I get it serviced now or is this a normal problem that can be ignored"

Backlight bleeding is a common issue in LCD displays, including those in laptops like the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54. It occurs when light leaks around the edges of the screen, often noticeable in dark scenes or when viewing a black background. Here are some points to consider:

Normal Variation: Some degree of backlight bleeding is often considered normal for many LCD screens, especially in budget or mid-range devices. However, the severity can vary.
Severity: If the bleeding is minimal and not distracting during regular use, it might be acceptable. If it's extensive or affects your viewing experience significantly, it may be a concern.
Warranty and Customer Support: If you believe the backlight bleeding is excessive or if it worsens, you should contact Acer customer care. It may be covered under warranty, and they can provide guidance on repair or replacement options.
Testing: To assess the issue, you can perform some tests:

    • Display a solid black screen or use a dark-themed wallpaper.
    • Check for light leaks in different lighting conditions and angles.
If you decide to contact customer care, be sure to provide them with detailed information about the problem, as well as any photos that illustrate the issue.
