Ed603c xbmilippx monitor, it has speakers but can't figure out how to get it work. Drivers required.

just purchased says it has speakers can't figure out how to get to work. 1 pc is connected via dp the other is HDMI how do I get either pc to use monitor speakers?

it shows update for drivers online but both pcs show generic graphics for monitor and that I have current drivers.

    There are a bunch of different ED306 models, there should be more letters after the '6'. Something like ED306C Xbmiippx… Or give us the first ten digits of the S/N and we can look your specific model up. Some of them have speakers and some do not, that's what the 'bmiippx' portion of the full model number shows. If yours has speakers then when it's connected and you go to sound settings on your computer. One of the output devices will be HDMI or DisplayPort, or such. Just choose that, use the monitor on screen display menu to set the volume at maximum and then adjust the volume to your comfort level in Windows.

    sorry it is the Ed603c xbmilippx it works great with bluetooth. just not with the monitor with one pc the other pc is working with monitor using dp using amd drivers. the one connected by hdmi is the one not working and the drivers for that one are hd audio driver for display audio.

    Do you have both cables connected at the same time? That might be confusing the monitor as to which audio signal to use…
