There is no such model as the AS515-55 you mean its the Aspire A515-55-55R6, as that is a correct model of your laptop. If the camera is showing in Device Manager then uninstall the camera and reboot and see if the camera is detected and working. If its not, then the eDP cable could be a reason why as its damaged as the cables camera data section is damaged or the camera is faulty and not working and needs changing. good luck and hope this helps you out

These are the parts that you need and should look at:

    Solution 1

    OPEN DEVICE MANAGER

RICHT CLICK YOUR CAMERA DRIVER AND SELECT UPDATE DRIVER

    AND THEN RESTART YOUR LAPTOP

    Solution 1

    Give your apps permission

If you recently updated Windows 10, you might need to give apps permission to use the camera. In newer versions of Windows 10, some apps don’t have default access to the camera.

To let your device access the camera, select Start , then select Settings  > Privacy  > Camera . In Allow access to the camera on this device, if Camera access for this device is turned off, select Change and turn on Camera access for this device.

    Solution 3

DOWNLOAD LATEST DRIVERS FROM ACER WEBSITE
