Dual Monitor Setup on Acer Nitro AN515-57 with High Refresh Rates

I currently own an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57 with the following specifications:

Intel Core i7-11800H
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
16 GB RAM

I’m trying to connect two external monitors to my laptop.

One monitor is connected via the HDMI 2.1 port and works perfectly, achieving its maximum resolution and refresh rate.
The second monitor is connected via a Plugable USB 3.0 to DisplayPort adapter, but it is limited to 60Hz despite the monitor supporting higher refresh rates.

I want to enable dual monitors with both running at their native resolutions and refresh rates (one of them is 144Hz). Does my laptop’s USB-C port support DisplayPort Alt Mode? If so, can I connect the second monitor using a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter to achieve higher refresh rates?

If the USB-C port does not support DisplayPort Alt Mode, could you recommend any solutions to achieve dual monitor functionality at high refresh rates?

The Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57 does not support DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) over USB-C. The USB-C port on this model is primarily for data transfer and does not support video output. What I recommend is this active USB3.0 graphics adapter that will support high refresh rates at 2-3K for 2 External monitors and 60Hz for 4K. https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-DisplayLink-Graphics-Outputs-Compatible/dp/B094G5JLNC?th=1 Note that you have to download the driver from the ELECABLE site.

Thank you for the recommendation of the active USB3.0 graphics adapter.

Currently, with my setup, I can achieve the following:

1440p at 144Hz on the first monitor via the HDMI 2.1 port, and

4K at 60Hz or 1080p at 120Hz on the second monitor via the Plugable USB 3.0 to DisplayPort adapter.

My primary goal is to achieve 1440p at 144Hz on the second monitor as well. Could you confirm if the adapter you suggested can handle 1440p at 144Hz over USB 3.0 for the second monitor, while maintaining the first monitor at 1440p 144Hz via HDMI?
