ACER 49 INCH CURVED DISPLAY MONITOR DISPLAY RESOLUTION issue. Need help with compatible GraphicsCard

Hello everyone,

I recently tried connecting an Acer 49-inch curved monitor with a 32:9 aspect ratio to my Dell T7500 workstation, but I’m unable to get the full display resolution. The screen shows a dark border on both sides, only filling a central area. I’d like to achieve a resolution of either 3840x1080 or 5120x1440, but it seems the current graphics setup isn’t supporting this.

Could anyone recommend a compatible graphics card for the Dell T7500 that can handle these resolutions? I’m ideally looking for an affordable, compatible GPU available in India. Any advice on specific models or experiences with this kind of setup would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Which GPU do you have in it now? The slot is PCIe x16 2.0, so pretty old specs. Even though more modern cards support running on a back revved slot, albeit at the slower speed 2.0 supports. You should be able to put most any GPU in and most any of them newer than 8-10 years old should be able to handle the resolution. Maybe an Nvidia 20x0 or 30x0 series?
