Acer Swift 5 Back Panel Melting

I purchased Laptop on 23 june 2021 from Pari Enterprize-Pune

after purchasing within 2 months I got small bump like structure in back panel to which I even took to the shop I purchased.

later considering it as a coating issue it left it unseen.

My daily average usage is approx.1.5hr hardly…so there shouldn't be any heating issue as such.

last 2/3 months my sibling was using laptop (

daily average usage is approx.1.5hr)

and kept it on bed due to which air got trapped and leaded to heating and melting of back panel.

I contacted 2 authorized service centre-one (CMS IT Services Pvt.Ltd)was located wrong and No such centre was there,the another (Genius Infotech)was listed with 3 contact numbers- one was connected to Mumbai's Acer store,one was out of reach and another was recieved by a man who was in hospital.

finally after reaching at service centre my issue was not revolved.

parts unavailable even in local store.

This is clearly a manufacturing and coating defect.

requesting acer to replace or repair the product.

If it's still under warranty, click this link, choose your country, click support link at top of country page. Enter machine's serial number id (SNID) and try to get the cover replaced. Otherwise, it's mainly a cosmetic issue that usually doesn't affect performance or use.
