Dear Acer Global Customer Support Team,

I am reaching out regarding my Acer Predator laptop (SNID: ***********), which I purchased in Bulgaria in September 2022, with all applicable taxes paid and a valid invoice provided. Recently, while using the device in Turkey, it encountered a critical malfunction and will no longer power on. However, when I visited an authorized Acer service center in Turkey, I was informed that, due to the laptop being purchased abroad, they could not proceed with diagnostics or repairs.

Although I understand that my laptop’s warranty has expired, this is a high-cost device, and experiencing such a severe failure within a relatively short time is both unexpected and disappointing. I trust that, as a global brand, Acer values the long-term performance of its products, and I am therefore requesting assistance with this technical issue.

In light of this situation, I kindly request the following support:

  1. Technical Support Consideration: Despite the expired warranty, I hope Acer can provide support due to the severity of the issue and the device's performance expectations.
  2. Alternative Solution: If technical support cannot be provided locally, I would appreciate guidance on an alternative repair option to address this issue effectively.

I am hopeful that Acer will uphold its commitment to customer satisfaction and assist me in restoring the functionality of my Acer Predator laptop.

Sincerely,
Zahid XXXX

You can try to find a motherboard repair shop to diagnose the motherboard.

    Hello @AnhEZ28

The Acer Service Center I visited in Turkey (SMS Infocomm Teknoloji Servis Ltd. Şti., Istanbul, Turkey) has refused to repair my device, even on a paid basis, simply because it was purchased in Bulgaria.

I originally bought the Acer Predator laptop (SNID: 11107963334) from an authorized retailer in Bulgaria in September 2022, with all applicable taxes paid. While using it in Turkey, the device experienced a critical malfunction and no longer powers on. When I brought it to the authorized Acer service center in Istanbul for diagnosis and repair, I was informed that they would not proceed with any repair work due to the device being purchased outside of Turkey.

This situation has left me without options and has been quite disappointing as an Acer customer. Despite the warranty having expired, I am prepared to cover repair costs myself, as this is a high-value device that has unexpectedly become unusable. I believe that Acer, as a global brand, should provide support to its customers regardless of where the device was originally purchased, especially for paid repairs.

I am reaching out with the hope that Acer can uphold its commitment to customer satisfaction by offering guidance on how to resolve this issue. Any assistance in facilitating repairs or recommending an alternative solution would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
