Hello Guys. My Internet adapter is not working properly. It disconnects when in heavy use or sometimes all of the sudden. At first I tried a clean install on windows, but that did not fix the issue. I changed the power management to not allow for disconnection. The Wlan auto config is on Automatic. I've updated my drivers on the official website but nothing works. I ended up changing the hardware. I bought another Killer WIFI 6e 1675i but it did not fix the issue! This laptop is brand new. Bought it 4 months ago and it never had that issue.

I already tried this commands on CMD as well:

netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled
netsh winsock reset and press Enter
netsh int ip reset and press Enter
ipconfig /release and press Enter
ipconfig /renew and press Enter
ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter

What could it be? Any help?

You should not have opened your 4 month old Predator Triton 14 PT14-51-7884 laptop and changed the WLAN card, as its still under 12 months Acer warranty and you have broken the Acer warranty protocols.

The PT14-51 parts like a new mainboard is expensive (as under a warranty repair claim, Acer would replace the mainboard as a simple/quick solution to this problem) and a new mainboard for this Triton laptop, costs more than what the laptop is worth, so now that you have opened and changed the WLAN card, Acer will refuse to repair and/or replace the mainboard of your Predator Triton 14 PT14-51-7884 laptop and you will have to pay for any repair coasts, so be aware of this.

The fault description that you have outlined above looks like the problem could be at the nbn connection box to your house or the TPG provided modem or with your TPG internet provider signal which is causing these faults. To test and make 100% sure if you still have these problems, use your mobile as a hot spot connection to the internet and see if your laptop and its WLAN card behaves the same and if its your laptop that has the problems? Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Hi, I recommend resetting Networking (see picture) and don't try these NIC commands as you are creating problems that (probably) don't even exist and use the default settings for your Wi-Fi adapter. I used many laptops online, 3 right now (different brands) and never ever had a hardware or Wi-Fi adapter issue that caused no or bad internet in the 40 years that I worked with Windows (2G-5G at home or LAN in offices), often the modem/router settings/location and 99% of the time the service provider, heavy traffic/high latency, city power (in the Philippines) and issues with my pre-paid internet plans (capped or firewalls), caused the problems. Get the latest router/modem from or recommended by your phone company/ISP and check another Windows PC online connected to that router, not a MAC or Android/phone but Windows and if no issues after working 1 day online only then you may have a problem with your adapter.
