Hello there,

I've recently bought a Nitro 5 (AN515-58-93A5, I9-12900H,RTX4060) which came with 8GBx2 DDR5 modules mounted on-board. As the plan consisted in switch from my old Nitro 7 (i7-9750H - GTX1650) to this one, i wanted to move its RAM to it.

Actually on the old one i'm using 32GBx2 Corsair Vengeance DDR-4 3200mhz CL22 but since it came with DDR-5 i guess they're not compatible with the new one and i might end up damaging it or what else.

Just a couple of questions before i make any wrong purchase:

Does the laptop supports both DDR4-5 or just the latter?

And eventually, better to buy straight 2x16GB banks (or 2x32GB DDR-5 if the hardware supports them) or the Vengeance ones will work on the new one too?

The old one has Windows 10 Home on it, installed it 4 years ago, just graphic-music software on it for work reasons and performs super well.

The new one has Windows 11 Home, brand new to it myself, updated to the last update released. After some hours that on it starts to gets sluggish, slow while moving windows and launching apps despite the hardware on-board. Is that normal or it's something 'normal' for you W11 users?

Thanks for your time reading it & thanks for the replies if any!
