Hello,

I am looking to add an SSD to Nitro 70 Gaming Desktop (N70-130-UR13), this is in addition to the SSD that came installed just above the Graphic board.

I see the two spots in the Case box for 3.5” HDD which I am using for hard disks.

But I also see two spots for 2.5” HDD bracket on the back, but they don't seem to be connected to anything.

Is that 2.5” HDD bracket usable? Or is it meant for some other model that uses the same case?

Thanks,

Matt

I do see the N70-130 has place to connect 2 SSD and one HDD.

So i dont think if there is place to connect 2 HDD than one might not be usable.

    Thanks @Jack22,

The M2_2280_2 is free in this model, so I could probably use it.

But my original question is about the 2.5” HDD brackets I found on the back:

I'm not sure if they are relevant for my specific model.

    Thanks,

    Matt

Actually, looking at the image you posted of "Install the HDD".

I think the "2.5” HDD brackets" are supposed to be used as an adapter inside the "Tool-less plastic for 3.5”HDD" and then inserted into the "Case box for 3.5” HDD".

    Does that sound correct?

    Thanks,

    Matt

It could be for the SATA SSD because it mention as SSD, but as you said not sure how it will be connected. May be through the SATA cable? or Matt you might be right.

    Thanks Jack.

I've marked your first response as the solution since using the M2_2280_2 slot is probably the best option.

Unfortunately I triple-checked the box and I can't find the accessory bag with the screws, so probably need to get a M2 3mm M.2 SSD screw separately.
