I've been facing an issue with my laptop charging for the past few months. My Acer Aspire 5 has a charging problem as its charging pin has loosened, and I have to adjust it at different angles to get it to charge. I went to the service center, and they told me that I would need to replace the entire motherboard. Personally, I don’t think the problem is that significant. I visited a reputable computer shop, and they opened the laptop to check. After examining it, they told me that they would need to replace the charging socket, but they can’t find it anywhere. I want to know where I could find the charging socket for my Acer Aspire 5. All I know is that it has a blue pin. What should I do about this?

    Hi,

This charger (PA-1900-32) can use DC adapter type "needle pin" standard 3.0x1.1mm or 5.5mmx1.7mm.
