EI342CKR monitor not showing144hz as an option with Geforce 3060 setup

Hi All,

I recently purchased the above model, used. I have it connected via DisplayPort cable (tested on other monitor, works @ 144hz) to my graphics card (GeForce 3060). I have the display widget downloaded, and pored through my NVIDIA settings to try to force the higher refresh rate - and yet, still it stays at 144hz.

Anybody have a clue why I'm not getting the option? Or anything I should try?

Thanks in advance!

J

    Welcome @JBZ,

Have you tried installing the available driver (even though it's for W10) for your EI342CKR(S/P) monitor from the Acer's Support page?

Try also, disable FreeSync / G-Sync / Adaptive VSync in OSD Menu Monitor and NVIDIA Control Panel:
