How can I resolve Headphone/Headset and Sound Blaster Studio issues on my A325-42

Hallo!

I purchased recently this 7730u/16gb/1tb laptop;

To my horror, I don't see any popup (Page 11) in the updated Win 11 Home laptop and also I can't find Sound Blaster Studio app as described in the Page 16 of Manual.

I'm unable to use a Headset (with mic), however the audio plays in the speakers.

I've been trying to figure out what's going on for the last two days without any fruitful result.

I'd appreciate your support to fix or resolve both issues.

Thank you!

    Nowhere does it say that it has SoundBlaster app.

    Acer Aspire 3 AMD Ryzen 7-7730U Processor Laptop (Windows 11 Home/ 16 GB/ 512 GB SSD) A325-42 with 39.6 cm (15.6") Full HD IPS Display, Backlit Keyboard, Pure Silver, 1.79 KG | Acer India Official Store

    Go to the Realtek Audio Console app to select "headset".

    Acer's manual can be incorrect sometimes. The most accurate thing should be Acer's website listing its actual specs.

    Guten Tag!

    I don't see any Headset setting;

    Main » Playback devices & Recording devices

    Speakers

    Microphone

    Device advanced settings » Enable Auto Popup dialog…..ON.

    I'm quite perplexed with this weird audio situation. What am I missing here?

    My Part Number: UN.34QSI.004

    This is what my Manual says (Page 16) to config the audio options in the Settings for Sound.

    It says that the Sound Blaster Application allows you to config the settings for the best performance in games, music and movies.

    Then it says to Run the Sound Blaster Studio control panel from the start menu in Windows.

    Except that the driver itself doesn't say it has sound blaster app. Download your realtek audio driver and compare to the other driver listed below.

    Product Support - A325-42 | Acer India

    This particular Acer laptop has the Waves MaxxAudio Pro app. Download the realtek audio driver and compare to your driver.

    Product Support - PH315-52 | Acer United States

    It has a "third party" folder with the Waves app. It also has a different Waves extension inf (inside the realtek folder and codecextoem_RTK folder).

    Your laptop doesn't have Sound Blaster Studio app because your a325-42 audio driver doesn't have a "third party" Sound Blaster folder and it doesn't have a special Sound Blaster extension inf in the extension_RTK folder.

    The laptop is either

    1. so new that they screwed up the drivers (and leave out the sound blaster in the driver) or
    2. they screwed up the manual

    In either case, contact Acer tech support because this laptop is so new.

    You can plug in your headset, lightly tap your headset mic and see if the "microphone array" signal meter will jump. If the signal meter jumps, then your headset mic works and there is no need to "select" headset in the realtek audio console.

    I appreciate your effort. Now, do I've to download all those 7 drivers to update the entire laptop?

    If yes, please share the correct sequence of the drivers to update.

    I've taken my new laptop's system image and saved it in the D drive just to be on the safe side.

    Check the version number then you will know whether you have to update.
