I have been trying to be installing Linux Mint, Cinnamon, for some time now. I turned Secure boot off. Finally I put the laptop in Legacy mode. So far no luck. I used rufus 4.6 and the linux mint 64bit ISO file. I'm trying to install it on a M.2 NVME drive. The drive is a WD Black 770 and 1TB. So after I install it and reboot it comes up no boot device. Then I take a look at the drive and it shows all the files. Very upsetting. This last time I have it on Legacy and the flash drive as MBR instead of GPT. So, what am I doing wrong.

Before I start the install, I remove the Win 10 drive from the laptop.

Ok I answered my own question. I got Linux Mint 21.3 to install on the laptop. Now that is loaded then I'll upgrade to Mint 22.
