    Graphics card or possibly screen/LED cable connector problem, this is a 9-year-old model so hardware is the most likely cause. I recommend taking the laptop to a reputable PC repair shop in your area.

    Hi Thusitha

    Blue screens (BSOD) is mostly occur due to hardware and sometimes due to incompatible software. In a lot of cases it is a corrupted driver or a driver conflict. The most common causes of blue screens are overheating, faulty RAM, video card problem and BIOS.

    If you restart it continuously at this screen 3 times or so it should go into automatic repair. Once this fails, it should offer a screen which has advanced options or troubleshooting on it.
    You are asked to choose an option on how to continue. Choose Troubleshoot > choose advanced > choose command prompt.

    open command prompt as admin
    x:\windows\system32>c:

    c:>cd windows\systems32\drivers
    >ren etd.sys etd.sys.old
    >exit
    restart laptop.

    @Thusitha

    First, try restarting your computer, as sometimes a simple restart can fix temporary glitches. Next, ensure  your operating system is up to date by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, installing any available updates, and then restarting your laptop. Use Windows Defender or your preferred antivirus  software to run a full system scan for malware. If you recently installed new software or hardware before the blue screen appeared, uninstall it by going to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program, and remove  the recently added programs. Lastly, if the issue continues, you can restore your system to a previous state when it was working correctly by going to Control Panel > System and Security > System > System Protection > System Restore, and following the onscreen instructions to choose a restore point. These steps should  help you  address the blue screen issue safely.
