Sorta like the plastic bag of brackets & cables that they throw in the box without instructions, the brackets are for a DVD unit , which I had pre installed and the cables were for a added "Sata" hd.

UPDATE / ADVICE FROM ACER .

    Dear Anthony,
Thank you for contacting Acer Support.

Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

    Please go to device manager:

Device manager>human interface devices>HD compliant touch pad>right click  uninstall >click action scan for hardware changes and then restart the device.

If the above has not worked you can try to download the Serial IO driver on the Acer website.

Once the file has completed downloading, you should locate the file on the download library folder.
Right-click on the folder and select Extract, the folder will Extract and create another folder.
Open the created folder inside the file you should see lots of file scroll down and run the Setup application and follow the set wizard. If it prompts you to install, click on install, if it prompts your Modify or Repairs click on Repair, finish the wizard and restart the computer and test the touchpad of your laptop.

If the above did not work check for pending windows updates: Outdated or pending Windows updates can sometimes interfere with the functioning of the laptop. Regularly checking for and installing the latest Windows updates can help resolve various issues.

If you have tried all steps and you still having the same issue then you will have to do a factory reset, please note that all data should be backed up inorder to do a factory reset as all data will be lost.

NB: THIS WILL ERASE ALL DATA ON YOUR UNIT.
    1.    Shut down/power off your unit.
    2.    Press and hold ALT, press the power button once and immediately repeatedly tap on F10
    3.    Please Wait will appear, and your computer will boot to a blue screen that says "Choose an option."
    4.    Select Troubleshoot.
    5.    Click Reset this PC.
    6.    Remove everything.
    7.    Select  Local Reinstall (Cloud Download requires a stable internet connection)
    8.    Click Reset and wait for the process to complete

Should you require further assistance do not hesitate to contact us.

    Kind Regards,

Got mine today. Also didn't see the stylus in the box anywhere and I panicked. But it was placed in the most non visible place. See attached image.

Also my stylus does not work. Maybe the battery is not inserted. I thought it may be preinstalled. I will look again tomorrow when I am back in the office.

Also the touchpad front slide switch seems to be very loose. Does it suppose to turn on/off the palm touch? And leave only the pen working? Because mine does not do any difference.....

I wouldn't be surprised if the battery inside the pen has a bit of plastic over one or both the contacts, to keep it from discharging while on the shelf…
