Issues with Acer Predator Connect W6 Configuration as Secondary Router

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased an Acer Predator Connect W6 router, but I'm facing some issues with its configuration. I already have an ISP router, and I don't want the W6 to be my primary router. Here's what I have done so far:

  1. After saving these settings, everything works fine.
    • Static IP address: 192.168.1.251
    • Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    • Default gateway: 192.168.1.254 (ISP router IP)
    • Primary DNS server: 192.168.1.254 (ISP router IP)
  2. The problem:
After disabling DHCP, the router is still accessible at 192.168.76.1, and the clients continue to receive IPs in the 192.168.76.xxx range.
    • Clients connected to the W6 have IP addresses in the 192.168.71.xx range, which is not what I want, because there is no connection between 192.168.1.xxx and 192.168.71.xxx network
    • To fix this, I went to the LAN settings and disabled the DHCP server, the gateway address stays at 192.168.76.1 with the same subnet mask and range as it .
  3. Bridge Mode:
I also tried setting the WAN to Switch/Bridge mode (as per the manual), but I couldn’t find where to assign a static IP in this mode. When I do this, I can't connect to the W6 router anymore.

Any advice on how to properly configure this router as a secondary device with static IP and correct IP ranges for clients?

Thanks in advance!
