Number keys on chromebook Acer C721 work inconsistently.

Hello,

I work for a school district in the tech dept.  We have around 400 Acer C721 chromebooks.  I have worked on several of them with numbers keys that are not working, usually 1,2,3,8,9, and 0.

    By doing a powerwash on your Chromebook this issue could be fixed, so could you please try this below steps and check:

    1.Select the Status area of the shelf in the lower-right corner of thescreen.

    2.Select Settings icon.

    3.Select Advanced.

    4.In the Reset settings section, select Powerwash.

    5.Select Restart.

    Important:

    Powerwashing your Chromebook will remove all local settings, data,and programs from your hard drive. Backup any data on your hard drive that is not saved online by moving it to Google Drive and waiting for it to sync.

    Thank you for your answer, but the Powerwash didn't work.

    May I know what happens when you try to get the power wash done? what symptoms do you get on the screen of the Chromebook. please.
