Hi everyone, I have an old Acer Predator G3600 and the only things i did through the years were upgrading to a GTX 1050 ti and adding 8 gb of ram. I just play casually so I don’t want to spend too much by buying a new pc, I’d just like to upgrade to a newer cpu. My current cpu is an i5-2400 which came with the pc. What is the best cpu my motherboard can fit? Any advice?

i7-2600 Sandy Bridge is the highest end CPU Acer supported with the G3600 models. That is going to be almost no improvement in performance. You might be able to run a 2600K or 2700K, but very likely the 'K' features aren't implemented in the BIOS. Have you already replaced the HDD with a SSD? That will give you the highest performance increase. Second would be to bump the memory to the max, 16GB using four 4GB 1333 DDR3 modules.
