ACER Nitro N50-610 - Can I RAM Upgrade?

Hi All,

I’m looking at using my extra 2 slots of RAM up, but I need to ensure i’ve got the correct RAM type.

Here is my PC -

Can someone confirm if this is the correct RAM to be buying as I can’t find the specific speed of 2666/1333 mhz my PC requires

My PC has serial numbers and part numbers which cannot be found online so I am hoping the above is correct

Hi, check the two DIMM modules that are installed and get new modules with the same speed and CL. If you have 2x4GB DDR4-2666MHz already installed, you will have 4x4GB = 16GB total ram (see picture below if you want to add more total RAM).

The motherboard should have the DIMM numbers marked. They go 1, 3, 2, 4 from the farthest away from the CPU to the nearest.

Thanks for your reply, Sorry if I have misunderstood. Could I get the below 8gb? or does it have to be all 4g of RAM?

Check what RAM you have in the 2 slots, if that is 2x4GB you cannot add an 8GB module (see the table above). The 8GB module will have to be in DIMM slot 2. The Crucial SSD is a Gen4 NVMe while the M.2 slot is PCIe 3 x4 like the Gen3 WDC SN-750 or the Gen3 Samsung 970 Evo plus. The Gen4 Crucial P310 will work but will run at half the rated speed like a Gen3 SSD. I recommend the Samsung 970 Evo Plus as that SSD has DRAM memory.
