Screen resolution is a function of your system and it's graphic capabilities. What do you have connected to the monitor?

Yeah, the GT 610 is likely the issue. That GPU is over ten years old and not designed for higher resolutions.

    Maximum DVI resolution:2560 x 1600
    Maximum HDMI resolution:1920 x 1200
    Maximum VGA resolution:2048 x 1536

So HDMI on it is your biggest bottleneck for the higher resolutions, and none of the ports will handle 4K.
