Acer nitro V Numpad isn't working

hello i just bought this acer nitro V anv 15 but later realized that the numpad isn't working, anytime i get to open MS word and i am about to type in numeral i will activate the Verr Num yet the digits won't work, they rather deplace the cursor from one position to the other like the Verr Num wasn't activated. i tried figuring this out by updating the pc drivers yet i am unable to handle this issue could anyone help me out thanks.

Hi, try toggling the Num Lk or num key directly under the power key (see top red circle picture) this activates the number function on the keypad (ignore the second red circle at the bottom).

hey i have checked what you said yet my problem is elsewhere cause even after activation of the numpad the number still won't work i think the problem is at the level of the software because the directionals will work, yet when numpad is active the digits won't work i sent the pc to ACER for servicing.

I've seen in some models where you had to press and hold the Numlock key for 5 seconds, until it activated its functions correctly.
