Steps to perform a clean install on my Aspire V5-571P - Intel(R) Core i5-3337U CPU @ 1.80GHz

I have never performed a clean install on my Aspire V5 (actually I've never performed a clean install on any of my laptops!). My Acer laptops performance has reduced to a crawl.

Does anyone have step-by-step instructions of how to perform a cold install?

For example, where do I go for the Windows OS (i.e. I don't have any backup disks with the OS that came with the original laptop) … do I need to make OS disks before performing the clean install?

Where do I find the software licenses?

Several years ago I purchased Microsoft Office and downloaded it from the web (i.e. I don't have any disks with the software) … but don't know where the software license agreement resides now. Is there a way to find the license agreement number on my physical laptop before I perform the cold install?

A step-by-step instruction list would be fabulous (along with pitfalls to avoid :-)

Try the Reset this PC function.

Regarding the Microsoft Office's license, you can try to sign in you Microsoft Account and this will automatically sync the license to your account.
