'm having trouble opening an old backup file I created on my Acer Aspire 5738g. The backup software had a logo with three yellow cubes. The file is from 2010. Can you help me find a compatible program to open it?

That doesn't look familiar to me, though it might have been part of the Norton backup programs of that age. What is the file extension for the backup file? If you try to load it using a utility like 7-Zip, does it open and display files?

It doesn't ring a bell, though the yellow color suggests it might have been one of the n orton products. What file extension is used on the backup files? If you attempt to open one with a utility like 7-Zip, does it work? Often the backups are really just compressed archives and an archive utility like that will understand them.
