My acer swift 3 SF314-512 has no sound from speakers.

Recently my acer swift 3 SF314-512 updated to windows update KB5042099 and has no sound playing from the speakers, although sound can be heard by plugging in earphones. How do i resolve this

    Check sound setting to make sure it's trying to use the speakers as the output device…

    Yes it does. There is sound output detected but there is nothing physically coming out from the speaker, other than periodic clicking noises.

    It's unlikely to be a hardware issue, since the left and right speakers connect to the motherboard in different physical locations. Try removing the audio drivers (Realtek I believe on your model) from Device Manager, then reboot to allow Windows to reinstall.
