Is there any link to patch notes for firmware's for this model?
There are some issues I noticed quickly, that needs to be addressed.

Such as the agent/node not showing the right indicator on the light in front being weak, but rather does not connect all of a sudden to the controller.

Log information is limited. There is limited adjustability on the WIFI settings.
Such as; Signal strength.

There is limited information on how large area each agent/node covers.

There is limited who should buy it, as the setup process is not for someone who is not technical. If you connect a brand new device, that needs a firmware upgrade. The node/Agent will also connect, but the auto update feature does not work towards the node, and the controller is the only one that upgrades.

Results; The agent/Node loses connection.

FIX: Set the router as a stand alone router, and for this you must connect to the agent/Node through cable, then set your IP to 192.168.76.105
Then set your information as follows: Subnet: 255.255.255.0 - IP Gateway and DNS 192.168.76.1 Then have this connected to WAN/ and push an update through the web interface on 192.168.76.1. After update is done, make sure your controller is still offline. Then reboot the agent/Node, such that, you can set it in the right ''Mode'' It needs to be in Mesh.
Reboot, and let it run for a moment before powering off..

After this, you must connect your controller to WAN - Then connect power. After it is online, make sure your WAN connection is disconnected from the agent/Node. And power this on, wait a moment, then push the VPS button on both devices. Wait until it connects, this may take a while. If it does not work, repeat the VPS process. Using a cable did not work, as it connects and drops the connection when cable is removed.

As for speed, it does not work as it should as of now. Im unable to get a satisfactory speed.
But on the latency side, it does have much better effect then both WIFI 5, and WIFI 6E.
On the negative part, the agent/Node quickly loses connections. It also has a tendency to lose connection if you do any sort of settings change on the controller. Requiring physical removal of the power adapter on both units to reconnect. ( And this reconnection takes time. )

I can write so much more on this. But for now I need the following:
Link to a blog, or site that shows the Acer Firmwares, and what the firmware releases fixes.
Also, an overview of the features they are currently still tweaking.
They should also enable a manual update feature. As of now your forced to use the auto update through web.

If this is not possible, then it is highly likely that it will be returned. As of now, it is not stable enough. Hopefully I did get everything inside here, as it took way too long to set up initially.

There is no firmware updates listed for the Wave 7 yet. It's a very new model that I didn't know was actually shipping. The User Manual was uploaded to their support site on the 15th, so less than a week ago. :)

You don't tell us what Acer model you are asking about? Typically Acer only gives us a very high overview for BIOS updates…

Apologies, it was written in the title of the post. It is the brand new Acer Wave 7, Wifi 7 Mesh router that comes in a two pack.

During today's testing it shows latency below 20ms, but still has random spikes and peaks that affects gameplay and any applications. Wireless speeds are tested below 240mbit, out of a 500mbit on both 2.4ghz and 5ghz. Speed has been tested in different ranges from the physical devices.

Lan speeds are confirmed to be 500mbit out of 500mbit.

    WAN is Fiber based.

WE REALLY NEED NEW FIRMWARE TO THIS PRODUCT (HOTFIX)!
There is many bugs for example guest or smart wifi connect won't work in agent wifi bridge in 2,4 GHZ network. (no internet connection).

Or is there bad product and I have to change it?

this is by far the worst router/mesh setup i've had so far, it just seem to be broken

i keep getting stutters while browsing, if i disconnect from the wifi and reconnect it resolves the issue for about 5 minutes, i've upgraded from a wifi5 mesh which worked far better than this one.

when can we expect a new firmware to fix this thing? it's barely usable at the current state
