Usually that is a cable problem. Have you tried a different cable or routed it differently?

OK, do they show up on the splash screen when you first turn the monitor on? How about in the on screen display menu with the computer disconnected?

Random white lines on your XF240YM3 monitor could indicate a hardware issue with the monitor's LCD panel or potentially a problem with the connection or graphics card. Here's a breakdown of potential causes and troubleshooting steps:
    Possible Causes:-
    Hardware Issue (Monitor):
Defective LCD Panel: The LCD panel itself might be failing, leading to lines or other display problems.
Stuck or Dead Pixels: In extreme cases, stuck or dead pixels can manifest as a single line.
Backlight Issues: Problems with the monitor's backlight can cause uneven lighting or white spots.
    Connection Issues:
Faulty Cable: The video cable connecting the monitor to your computer might be damaged or loose.
Loose Connections: Check for loose connections at both ends of the cable and ensure the monitor is properly grounded.
    Graphics Card Issues:
Faulty Graphics Card: The graphics card itself could be failing, causing display problems.
Outdated or Corrupted Drivers: Outdated or corrupted graphics card drivers can lead to display issues.
    Other Potential Issues:
Overheating: If the monitor is overheating, it can cause display problems.
Electromagnetic Interference: Other electronic devices nearby could cause interference.
    Troubleshooting Steps:
    Check the Cable:
Try a Different Cable: Use a different, known-good video cable (e.g., HDMI, DisplayPort) to rule out a faulty cable.
Re-seat the Cable: Ensure the cable is firmly plugged into both the monitor and the computer.
    Test with a Different Monitor:
Connect to a Different Monitor: If possible, connect your computer to a different monitor to see if the lines persist. This will help determine if the issue is with the monitor or the computer.
    Update or Reinstall Graphics Drivers:
Check for Updates: Go to the manufacturer's website for your graphics card and download the latest drivers.
Reinstall Drivers: If updating doesn't solve the problem, try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers.
    Check for Overheating:
Ensure Proper Ventilation: Make sure the monitor is in a well-ventilated area and that the vents are not blocked.
Clean the Monitor: Dust and dirt can hinder airflow and lead to overheating.
    Check for Electromagnetic Interference:
Move the Monitor: Try moving the monitor away from other electronic devices that might be causing interference.
Check Power Outlets: Make sure the monitor and other devices are not plugged into the same power outlet or circuit.

Ensure all cables are securely connected, inspect and clean the ports, and try using a different cable to rule out connection issues. Update your graphics drivers from the official NVIDIA or AMD website and test the monitor with another device to check if the problem persists. Adjust the refresh rate in your display settings to match the monitor’s specifications, and perform a factory reset using the on-screen display (OSD) menu to restore default settings. If the issue continues, inspect the monitor for any physical damage
