Predator PHN16-71 "weak state of charging" when monitor conected to USB-c,not able to s/w to perf. m

I´got a Helios Neo 16 (PHN16-71) RTX4060; I recently started using a Gigabyte G27Q monitor with USB-C output (displayport, with Gsync 165hz - higher than the HDMI port 144hz); The problem is that even with the original 330w charger connected to the laptop, it complains of "weak state of charging" and sometimes (randomly) doesn't allow it to switch to performance mode because it understands that it is not connected to the socket; I´ve noticed in foruns that several people have the same problem, but I didn't find any solution! If I remove the monitor the warning disappears. I don´t want to go back to the HDMI and loose gsync and the higher 165hz… How to make the notebook not draw power from the Thunderbolt when the monitor is connected?

The PHN16-71 laptops comes with either the lower power 230W: 11.8A (max) or the higher end 330W: 16.9A (max) adapter and that is what Acer designed this laptop to run with, which is a very high end psu and its NOT designed to run on any higher adapter or to extract more power and/or through what this oem psu provides thorough its USB-C type port, if your external monitor with its G-Sync and 165hz refresher rate doesn't operate on this laptops psu then its not suitable to do so as Acer did NOT design this laptop for an external monitor like you have and a USB-C connection.

If you want a PC with an external monitor like a USB-C port connection with a 165Hz refresher rate and G-Sync then use a Predator full gaming desktops that Acer has in its range. My advice to you is this, use the laptop to its oem Acer specs and do not use a higher wattage and a none oem adapter higher than 330W: 16.9A (max) for this laptop, as you will cause damage to this excellent gaming laptop.
