My device suddenly prompt an "No bootable device" error. I tried to recover it by using every means I can find on the internet. But still has this problem. I also check the built in drive and I think it broke down. I still want to use my laptop, I also bought an external SSD which is an SSD with an enclosure to act as my driver. Already installed a windowstogo program with windows 10 OS. but it can't proceed with the windows program. Is my OS wrong? I tried the linux os and it proceeded. I want to use Microsoft because I need with office. Can someone help me on this problem.

Also when I boot up the Linux OS upon restart it always go to the default. Meaning that I can't save anything.

On the BIOS Information screen, is the drive listed?

You can try booting from a Windows install flash drive, then use the Repair mode to get to a command prompt, then use DOS commends to see if you can read and write data to the disk. There is a good possibility the eMMC drive has failed. If so the only option is to place a SATA SSD in and reinstall Windows on that.
