Where can I download the chipset driver for an Acer C24-1700-EB11?

I would like to have it on hand for in the event the NVMe drive fails

I tired these but they did not work for Windows 11

The Acer provided Chipset driver for the Aspire AIO C24-1700 PC that is the chipset driver version 10.1.36.6 should work 100%, as that is the only driver that there is, if not see if Intel has a newer driver on its download page, do not use the Intel driver and support assistant as it will not have a chipset driver. always and ONLY use the provided drivers for your AIO that Acer provides, do not use any other drivers especially for bios and firmware updates as you will brick your AIO if you do. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Yes, the one on the download page should work. What errors do you get when you try to install it? I wouldn't be surprised if it were 'the best driver is already installed', but it sound like you might be seeing something different.

I had purchased an open box return. It looks like the previous owner had infected the machine with a Trojan. I was getting constant system errors in Event viewer and WIndows Security would not open on first boot up after opening and setting up the machine. Scanned with MBAM, ADWcleaner and a virus scanner. Then I decided to do a recovery and clean. I was trying to load up a bootable Windows 11 USB. The NVME drive would not show up so I tried the drivers from the previous link I provided. The drivers gave me an error which I now assume are from the Trojan.

You likely need to go into the BIOS and enable the boot menu. Then use the F12 key to choose the USB as your boot source when first powering it on. Once the installer has loaded you will need to load the IRST drivers when it asks where to install. Once those drivers are loaded the drive should be visible. Remove all existing partitions then tell the installer to install to the unallocated space. None of that does any sort of OS load, so a trojan won't be on the system. When the install is complete you should be good and can reinstall the Acer utilities on the support site under Applications.

You also have the possibility that the issue wasn't anything to do with a virus, but in fact the machine was returned because of a bad build. Did you buy the open box from Acer or through a retailer?

It was from Best Buy. The AV scans found a Trojan. I took the machine back and got an Acer AMD Ryzen machine.

    All is well now.
