  1. What can be upgraded in Swift 14 AI? I'm mostly interested in upgrading the SSD and WiFi/BT card.
  2. Can you show a photo without the bottom cover?
  3. Will there be SKUs with X1E84100 or X1E80100 and 64GiB of RAM? The lowest end 78 model is just disappointing, it ain't much better than X1P64100.
  4. Will there be SKUs with X1P64100 and 32 GiB of RAM? X Plus is perfectly fine for most tasks, but RAM can be sometimes a limiting factor.
  5. While I understand that Linux is not supported, there a things which will make it possible for community to support it. Is it possible to disable secure boot?
  6. Will Acer provide firmware blobs under redistributable license for inclusion in the linux-firmware project?

Luckily the Swift 14 AI model is new enough there is only one base, the SF14-11T, so we have something we can look up. Give them a few months and we'll have to ask you for a model number before we can answer detailed technical questions. Unfortunately, the service guide hasn't hit yet, so we will have to wait a bit before we can really get into it. :(

Also, you shouldn't need to disable secure boot to install Linux, the current distributions almost all have signed EFI images.

Well, I'll have to disable it. None of the distros will boot yet due to missing dtb, so I'll most likely have to compile the kernel by myself. While it's certainly possible to make it work anyway, I'd rather disable secure boot for simplicity.

So how should I contact Acer? They don't have email addresses listen anywhere, live chat is 403 here and obviously I can't call them.
