How do I reset or format my Chromebook C720 laptop?

Previously, the computer was working very well with the installed Windows 7 OS. However, the system's Hard Disk space is very small, about 16GB, with 80 percent of the total size already used after installing the Windows on it. Then someone tried creating an additional new user account; but then an error occurred; I suspected it might be the low memory that caused it.

The new profile refused to be created and loaded. Also, there is no option to change user account. Now I cannot login again.

I even tried accessing the boot option, but nothing there has proved to be of help.

Please, help me.

Running Windows isn't actually supported on your C720, so you are in unexplored territory here. You are likely right in that the very small eMMC drive. It's just not enough room for a Windows installations. Also, the eMMC drives have a shorter life than full featured SSDs have, with only a limited number of write cycles before failure, so you might be running into that with this 11 year old Chromebook. If so there's no fix since the drive is soldered directly to the motherboard.
