Hello everyone. For starters, my model is a PH315-52. I got this back in 2020 and for 2-3 years it ran extremely well for high performance games like Fortnite on max settings. However, these days, in order to run it you have to put it on the lowest possible settings to get half decent FPS along with Warzone. With Minecraft, it works great on bedrock with 60+ fps, but on Java it's super choppy even after forcing it to use the dedicated 1660ti and optimizers. It works great for lower performance games like Cod and other editing software; however, I cannot figure out what is going on. I consistently disassemble the computer to dust and replace thermal paste to keep temperature cool and I have incorporated a Samsung 970 Evo SSD and used it for everything. I also am sure to keep up on all my drivers. I have looked at the condition of my GPU, but everything says no problems have risen. Is there anything I could possibly do to try and fix this, or is it simply becoming "outdated" for the bigger stuff? Any help helps a lot.

You are not mentioning what Windows version you are running, if still on W10 upgrade to Windows11 23H2 and update to build 22631.3880. Check the background processes in Task manager that should not be much more than 65, uninstall bloatware and 3rd party browsers an AV programs. If after this performance is still slow do a "Reset this PC" without losing your files option. Keep the power adapter plugged in 24/7 and make sure the battery is always 100% charged.
