How to drop bios password on Helios 300 PH317?

I've tried to disconnect it from power, disconnect the battery and then also disconnect the tiny bios battery. And left it for five hours.

After that BIOS still asking for password. I'm not sure what it is, since I left the device for my son about three years ago (nope, he hasn't set it and generally unaware of such feature).

How else can we remove the password without knowing it?

And removing the batteries didn't solved it ? (maybe you should also keep the power-on button pressed for 5-10 seconds to drain all the power left) . There is some other way but i`m not sure if it will work > https://www.biosbug.com . You go to Acer laptops and do what says there .(it`s free btw)

    You are my savoir!

When I removed my battery it dropped the BIOS settings but not password. And since default BIOS setup is merging SSD and HDD (very odd idea, Acer engineers!) my system became inaccessible.

But with BIOS hack I got all back to normal. Thanks a lot!
