Can I add a 2nd SSD to this desktop? I would like to add a 4tb SSD to it and double the memory, but not sure if it can be done.

The only way to have 2x M.2 SSD drives in the Aspire TC-1750 desktop is to add an additional M.2 SSD drive adapter to the PCIE16Х slot that has a bandwidth of 15.15GB/s which is close to an M.2 Gen 5 M.2 drive but I wouldn't put that sort of a drive onto this desktop as the mainboard will not utilize that speed that a Gen 5 M.2 SSD has which is 16GB/s, Either use a Gen 3 M.2 that works on a bandwidth of 3.939 GB/s, or the Gen 4 M.2 drive that works on a bandwidth of 7.88 GB/s. which is the best that you should use

Buy a PCIe X16 To X8+X4+X4 Adapter Card Expansion Card PCIE4.0 M.2 NVMEx2 Input Ports like below and attach it to the PCIe 16X slot and buy a 4TB Gen 4 M.2 SSD as that will work and give you good M.2 drive speeds and also, these adapters are pretty cheap from Amazon or eBay. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

1. Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus-G 4TB
2. Seagate FireCuda 530 4TB
