I was installing bios update from the Acer site, then the laptop powered down to re boot

Laptop powered off, then lights came on under the keyboard, fan is off, screen blank. Seems laptop is not working at all.

Hi @TrinityPenn shutdown during the update may have damaged the BIOS, waiting for answers that know some recovery procedure, you will have to take the equipment to an Acer technical service or an authorized center to see if it is possible to flash the BIOS.

    All the best.

Which Swift 5 do you have? There have been an awful lot of different models over the years. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like SF5xx-xxx-xxxx. Do you know which BIOS version was there before the update and which version you were installing? Was it a download from the Acer site or a pushed update from Windows update?
