Which version of Window 10 was bundled with this laptop: Windows 10x32 or Win10x64?

Model: n19c3

Thank you.

    Hi NativeNewYorker,

From Acer support page, and their usual practice, it would be Win10x64.

If you wanna be absolutely sure, head to Settings > System > About. Under system type, it should say 64-bit operating system.

    Cheers!

    Thank you for reply.

Was able to re-install Win10x64 on this old laptop from 2020 from a USB Flash disk.

Because the built-in recovery partition was damaged and was not usable.

Now that the system is usable, there are no Acer support software like "Acer Care Center" on this laptop.

Is there a way to install Acer Care Center software?

My goal is to fix the built-in recovery partition to factory fresh condition.

    Any clues appreciated. Thank you.

You can try the ALT+F10 cold boot factory recovery method by making sure the D2D recovery option is enabled in the BIOS Main tab.

Unfortunately, once a generic MS version of Windows is installed, the hidden factory recovery partition is usually no longer accessible, overwritten or otherwise unrecoverable. Follow this youtube video for the ALT+F10 method.

    Hi Jack!

Disk-to-disk (D2D) Recovery was enable in BIOS.

The Alt-F10/ Power button generated a blue screen entitled "Choose your keyboard layout."

Does this screen mean the recovery partition is still usable?

    Since Win10x64 was already installed?

Was able to exit the "Choose your keyboard layout" by long pressing the power button.

    Thank you.

    Hi NativeNewYorker,

If you intend to restore the OEM ISO instead of fresh Windows installation, then a recovery media is required, and needs to be created in the days early when you first bought the laptop.

If you're only looking to install the Acer software suite, then you can download also from the Acer Support site under the Application category:
    https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/product-support/Aspire_A515-43

Usually the built-in partition is there for you to create the OEM recovery media, rather than fresh re-installing the system. While that can do OS installation, it needs the existing system to be mostly intact to reuse those files, which is not your case.

Now that you have a working system, you can re-create that recover media after installing the 2 software above, so you have all Acer software together with your new OS recovery media.

To do that, you need a USB / HDD / SSD that is >8GB (recommend to use 16GB USB for this purpose).

    Then follow this guide:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-a-recovery-drive-abb4691b-5324-6d4a-8766-73fab304c246#WindowsVersion=Windows_10

No system re-installation is required in the process and it's pretty quick.

    Cheers!
