Hello,
I recently noticed that my touchpad on my Acer Swift 3 SF314-52 is popping up. The left side seems sunken in, while the right side is elevated and stiff (see pictures below). The touchpad itself works fine and I can move my mouse cursor, but the left and right clicks do not work. I usually use a wireless mouse so I typically don’t use the touchpad for clicking at all.
My laptop has been exclusively at my desk for these past few months, so I don’t believe it was dropped or hit anywhere. Also no water damage.
I don’t know how relevant this is, but I’m also experiencing some battery issues. My laptop needs to be plugged in at all times or else it’ll immediately shut down. In an attempt to reset the battery, I clicked the mini battery reset button at the back with a pin, but that was about it.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
