I have an old ATC-220 computer that I purchased new in 2016. I increased the RAM to 16GB, and I would like to increase the UFMA buffer size to 2GB from the 1GB it is currently at. However, in the BIOS, I can only increase it to 512MB when I unselect "Auto." If I update my BIOS will that allow me to increase the buffer size? I am still using my original BIOS from 2016. The BIOS updates on Acers support site are both newer than my original one.

Nope. They will not have done any BIOS mods to deal with that possibility if they didn't get them in in that first year of manufacture. If you are running P11-A3 you can upgrade to P11-A4 but the changes will be small bug fixes only.
