Hello, I was presented with a new laptop Acer Aspire A515-57G. There was 11 Windows installed in advance, but I wanted to reset it to factory settings, but I noticed that there is a disk called "WINDRIVER" it contains:
Autorun folder, Autorun.inf, files.MDS, ResourceCD.dat

The Autorun folder has the following subfolders:
APP
AutorunX
DRV
GUI
Others

I would like to know if I can delete the contents of this disk, and delete it to increase the memory of another disk?

Hi @LeClark It is a folder with the drivers and applications that the Acer version of Windows installs.
I think it is installed again if the Acer recovery is applied, it is not installed in the case of an installation from Microsoft media, in any case, you can always download them from the Acer computer page, which will always be the same or more updated than those in the folder, since the creation of this folder is always older than the latest updates.
If you want, make a copy.

    Regards.
