Aspire XC-1780 Sound Issues

New unit with full updates done. All drivers are newest, many newer than what can be downloaded on the product page.

Unit it hooked up via HDMI to a tv set. When playing anything with audio, there is often a delay before the audio kicks in, such as playing a video on youtube, and the delay is usually 1-2 seconds. When I pause the video or close the page, after a few seconds there is an audible pop through the speakers.

Anyone else with this unit experience this issue, and, if so, were you able to fix it?

Be sure than ALL audio features are turned OFF on the TV like dolby, enhanced , surround sound etc.

BUT you may still have problems with delays as HDMI audio to a PC isn't always sync able as the TV and PC HDMI sometimes just don't match.

Google " TV audio delay with PC HDMI)

Also look into what the computer and TV are plugged into. You can get those pops due to ground loops if the power supplied isn't quite up to spec, such as an ungrounded outlet.
