Laptop: Legion Pro 7i Gen 9 Intel (16″) with RTX™ 4080

Monitor: Acer ‎Nitro KG271U

Docking Station: Dell Dock – WD19S 180W

Connection: DP 1.4

Question: Is this setup able to run 240hz refresh rate for the external monitors? Per the specs, the monitors should be capable of 240hz refresh rate. I've hooked everything up but unfortunately the highest refresh rate available for the external monitors is 144hz. The laptop itself can get to 240hz just not the external monitors.

Already tried unplugging and replugging everything.

Also tried connecting just 1 external monitor to the laptop and it was still missing the 240hz option; only gave 144hz.

Went to Display Adapter Properties and the only 240hz option available was for 1920x1080.

However, the monitor is capable of 2560x1440 resolution and per the manual the 1440p resolution should be able to reach 240z refresh rate with a DP connection, which it is using the 1.4 version.

Should work unless dock is in between?

Yes, I don't believe the dock itself can handle 240Hz.
