I just bought an Acer Spin. I haven't even gotten it out of the box, but do I need to take it to my phone service provider to gain access to the internet?

Hi @Elizabeth8Orb it is not necessary, once you turn on the computer, configure it with your email and then go to Windows Update to update it.
Then, find your Wi-Fi network and set it with your password.
The name of your network and the router's encryption password are data that you should already have provided by your internet distributor; some routers have this data on a sticker under it.
    Tell me any questions.

    Greetings.

Some Spin models, for some locales, have over the years included 4G or 5G connectivity as an option. On those units you have to get together with your phone service provider to get that side of things working, but even on those the WiFi will be your primary network interface.
