NitroSense Not Working on Nitro AN16-41

Nitrosense was working quite well but the devs broke it with the latest update. It does not even open anymore. I can not control the fan speed and keyboard lights are gone for good, it is quite frustrating. Apparently there are many people who are having this issue but i do not really think that Acer cares enough to fix it. I have to admit that my decision to buy an Acer device was a poor one …

Hire developers that actually tests their code before publising an update to thousands of devices Acer.

Sorry this was more of a rant but a deserved one in my opinion.

Hi,

Could you please tell us the version of your graphics card, is it RTX4070, 4060 or 4050? I am asking because the update may be for another variation of your model, if you have RTX4050 graphics, use NS version 4.0.736, I would suggest you use Revo uninstaller to uninstall the updated NS, then scan it to find leftover files and folders, delete them all, reboot the laptop and install original version of NS after downloading from Acer support site.

This is not a solution for you but to anyone who will be in your position in future can use this method to resolve the issue.

Hey thanks for your comment. I have an rtx 4060 card. I have tried uninstalling with Revo and installing different versions but sadly no luck. Which version do you recommend i use for rtx 4060 ?

You are welcome, you could try the version 4.5.959 and see whether it works, if not give 4.0.775 a try.

Well the solution was to just run nitrosense as Admin… Now it is up and running. To think it was so simple after trying so many things. Hope this helps other people ..
